MITNUCLEARE - RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL
The activity placing MITNucleare in a sector
leading position is certainly transportation, and shipments of radioactive
materials in crates suitable to be transported.
MITNucleare is currently the only authorized
forwarder in Italy for all the different kinds of transport (road, air, sea and
internal water transport) that has the expertise, the means and the
organizational structure necessary for the transportation of all kinds of
radioactive materials allowed to be transported.
The activity, within the class 7, includes:

Transport of radioactive sources (non fissile)
for medical, industrial and laboratory applications

Transport of large radioactive sources for
medical and industrial applications

Transport of fissionable materials (radiated
and non-radiated)

Transport and entrusting to national operators
of radioactive waste and dismantled sources

Logistics and distribution of radioactive
products

Storage during transport at the authorized
warehouse

Supply of integrated services and supplementary
to transportation
MITNucleare has all the legal authorizations and
guarantees the integrated quality, environmental and safety system.
Integrated services are performed with the help
of sector professionals and the cooperation with specialized companies for the
satisfaction of the Customer specific technical issues or provisioning
requirements.
For some of these Companies MITNucleare operates
as agent or Italian exclusive agent.
MITNucleare is the only Italian forwarder having
the expertise and already entrusted with the feasibility study of transports
for the dismissal of radiated nuclear fuel from Italian sites (CAORSO, TRINO
etc.).
